On the 4th Medication and No End in Sight

Ugh, ok, so Im 25 years old and have been out of the workforce for 6 months and recently got a new job and recently diagnosed with ADD. My dr prescribed me something, I can't remember and was only on for 3 days because it made me dizzy. I took Strattera for 2 weeks and thought it was great except it seemed to wear off too soon. I have recently been on Concerta and it didn't really work for me so now my dr is saying that if Concerta didn't work then I must not have ADD??!!! I've dropped out of college 3 times because of my inability to focus, almost lost jobs because of my inability to focus, had to take all summer off of work to try and fix this and still nothing has helped. Now I'm starting Pristiq to "help" and if this doesn't work I have to go for a second opinion. Seriously?? How much time do I have to lose before we find something that works??

ADHD

After reading this post, I offer this information: At least two countries, the U.K. and Australia, are moving to ban products containing synthetic food & beverage dyes from their shelves thought to cause problems in children, including symptoms of ADHD, plus other health concerns in adolescents and adults.

One U.S. company, a Minnesota firm, has developed an all-natural, non-GM alternative to the petroleum-based dyes that for years have been used in foods, beverages, cosmetics and other products we put on or in our bodies.

High in antioxidants, this new product, now catching the eye of large U.S. food/beverage manufacturers, is derived from a specially developed 'purple' corn hybrid. Once the natural dyes are extracted, the starches, proteins and oils in the corn are sustained for continued use along the food chain. To learn more, go to www.suntava.com.
