Focalin XR while sick?

My 5.5 year old son has been taking 10mg Focalin XR in the morning for approximately 10 days. He has just come down with a virus and has fever, sore throat, no appetite, etc. He moved from his bed to the couch today, and then back to bed. I did give him the Focalin XR today, but I am wondering if I should have? Do you usually give (or does your physician tell you to give) your child their meds when they are sick? Thanks so much! Jamie

Focalin

You should probably call your doctor on that if you're having doubts.. It is better to be safe than sorry... Take care!
