My 5.5 year old son has been taking 10mg Focalin XR in the morning for approximately 10 days. He has just come down with a virus and has fever, sore throat, no appetite, etc. He moved from his bed to the couch today, and then back to bed. I did give him the Focalin XR today, but I am wondering if I should have? Do you usually give (or does your physician tell you to give) your child their meds when they are sick? Thanks so much!
