Help
Our son has a long history of being physically aggressive (even as an infant he would scratch his face all over), then came school and impulsivity. He has a hard time keeping his hands to himself, he fidgets, lies constantly and then tells he doesn't know why he does the stuff he does. When he was 6 y/o we sent him to the Stadter Center for impatient treatment and to figure out exactly what we were dealing with vs guessing and trying whatever options came to mind. He turned around, the kids in his school forgave him for the mean things he had done. Then my husband and I decided it was time to move back to MN to be by family and friends. We made this transition about 2 weeks ago. Since then we have seen a huge decline in his behavior. He has been written up foe hitting on the school bus (he said the other student called him names), we have received a phone call from another parent that Austin has been hitting and kicking his daughter, he is lying, he tells me he does like himself, etc. This all breaks my heart. I try to understand that some of this is related to his ADHD, but his dad and I become so frustrated and angry. We tell him it all must stop but I know that is not a reality. His dad does not understand. We have already made an appointment with a psychologists to review his status and meds. Does anyone have any advice. I pray for Austin. I know he hurts emotionally.
