Explosion Triggers

There are two things guaranteed to set off my 5 year old with ADD - rushing her, and when she feels she isn't being listened to. It's reasonably easy to plan ahead so we don't have to rush, but other people are a big part of the equation when she feels ignored. Does anyone have a way to encourage her to be less sensitive to this?

Ahh, the impusivity of ADHD. You might try addressing the issue using role playing. Maybe try discussing alternative ways to respond when she is feeling ignored.
