More Issues...

How do I get my 7 yr old son to stop tattling? It could be anything from the way someone eats (with their mouth open), to someone staring at him, not eating properly with utensils, etc. He's been taught right from wrong, but the problem is, as parents we all have definitions of right and wrong, or what is acceptable behavior. He seems to think he needs to call everyone out on what he deems as wrong. how do I get him to stop this? The other things is....I've gotten a letter from the school stating that when my son gets called out for doing thing wrong himself, he gets aggressive about it, and won't accept responsibility for his own actions. I constantly work with him at home, and with his teacher. :oS Any suggestions?

Role Playing to Build Social Skills

You might want to try role playing to help him build social skills, discuss the appropriate ways to respond to specific situations. These articles discuss how to help your ADHD child build social skills, most are aimed toward teasing, but I think that you could use the same approach with tattling.
