Son is new to Biphentin-need help

My son was just diagnosed on the Monday and the doctor prescribed 10 mg of Biphentin to start for my 5 year old son. We wanted to be honest with him and told him that we were going to put something in his yogurt to help him concentrate and not squirm as much. He hated the yogurt-said he could feel the little balls in his food. Now he doesn't want to eat yogurt. I tried getting him to swallow it, but he just bit into it and spit it out (like I predicted). Yesterday was his first time taking it and this morning he came to my room and was fully dressed and had made his bed all by himself and stated that he was a good boy now. I feel like crying. I don't want him to think he is taking these pills because he is bad. We never call him bad!! Any suggestions on what else I can add the meds too? He doesn't like apple sauce. Can I just add it to water? Any suggestions on how to approach the low self esteem? Thanks in advance for any ideas!
