my son is almost 3 years of age (on Nov08). He is a ball of energy , and my husband (who takes care of him) says the my youngest is far more boisterous / noisy and a real horse in our house than our eldest (10 year old boy). he has several understandable words no sentences yet. Amazingly, he has memorized the alphabet (can recognize and pronounce each letter quite good) and has memorized numbers 1 to 20 (can recognize without me telling him what number he is holding or writing) and he can write A to Z and 1 to 23. I am so confused. we had him checked by a Neurologist and the diagnosis was " combined receptive expressive language delay / deviance". He is a very happy boy, he dances to tunes , he cannot sing though. He knows ice cream, ball, he knows his daddy and mommy and kuya (older brother), sometimes i can make him talk , sometimes he really doesnt want to talk. i dont know really. We had him attend O.T. for 2x but we stopped because of an activity which is for me was so traumatic to my child - - he developed fever for 3 days and nights. HELP PLEASE, JUST HELP.
