Need Advice On Better Medication xD
Hi Im new, 23 ADHD Male.. Granddddddddddddddddd. So the hyperactive part is pretty much me, ive read the artical on ADHD Sleep advice and the hyperfocus.. I have major issues with having the inititive to go and find work and keep it, granted this economy isnt the greatest and i should jump at anything i get. currently i do a 150 paper route which i have to wake up for in.. 2 hours? lol i need help sleeping the mind running and running and running and running and running when i lay down and not active id say is the worst time for me, i over think everything about the day, from the slightest things to the larger side of the scale. So far the only thing that has kept me to an even level has been.. hate to say it but THC. Granted I Know alot of people look down on this. And they have there valid opinions. What im looking for is something that can help but be on the more legal side of things.. Ive tried Ritalin When i was 8-12 then Adderall from 12 - 16, dropped out so didnt really take the meds anymore.. and i havent been on any sence then. I think what i need is a non stimulant that can help me focus and keep my mind even instead of feeling like im on Meth.. Adderall does its job well.. but the depression and the malnutrition that follows with it isnt worth the focus in my opinion.. wow just realised something.. Adderall is like the complete opposite of THC atleast on the side effect area.. I also have this major addiction to computers and games, sometimes borderline obsessive.. And me and my g/f have been a little distant and like i said before "overthink everything" it gets to be disturbing thinking about all the aspects of a minor disagreement right before bed.. She passes out within 20 minutes and I went to sleep 3 hours ago.. supposidly.. now its 3:28am gotta be up at 5:30 FUN!..... ok back to what i was saying.. Almost Everyday i have the same routine I wake up around 11-Noon area go deliver the news papers, get back home around 3pm get in front of the computer and POOF gone like my mind Checks out and Games Check in.. this is not exactly the best thing for a relationship nor work ethics.. And then i have to take 5 Sleeping Pills just to get tired at 4 am.. which i do not have any tonight xD... my eating habits area pretty much Mountian Dew And 2 Meals a day... And yes i have tried not drinking the mountian dew and drink water and see if that helps me sleep. negitive all the caffenne+sugars.. still same results No Sleep. Last time I saw a doctor about this was when i was 13. Havent seen one since due to the not enough money + no insurence... So does anyone have any ideas? :o Yay I yawned.. Insert Edit : Also Sometimes (My girlfriend made me do this) but sometimes it is really hard for her to get me away from the computer just for the more adult rated activities.. and i just noticed this tonight my self and that also REALLLY Bothers me.. like ya.. cmon..

Advice on alternative to medication
Hello Sev, Your sleeping pattern must be really exhausting my friend. I'm sure we've all heard how sleep deprevation alone can affect our daily perfomance. But its a whole different story when you experience it. There is hope though ! I recently posted an article about ADD and its connection with B12.
