Concerta (54 mg.) vs. Focalin XR. Was this the right move in meds?

My son (11 yrs old) just switched from Concerta (last dose - 54 mg.) to Focalin XR. So, far so good. Was this the right move in meds?

My son had lots lots of weight on Concerta and I wanted a change in the medicine my son was on. Has any one switched from Concerta to Focalin XR?? Is Focalin XR working better for you ??

my sons have been on focalin since they got diagnosed it works really well for them but just seems to be out of their system by the end of the day and now I am trying to figure out what to do for them at night when they play sports but soi far it has worked great there grades have gone up and they are really learning in school.
