Microsoft OneNote?

I just started using Microsoft OneNote 2007. It appears as if it will be an awesome tool for organization. Does anyone have any experience using this. Please share your thoughts.

Microsoft's Best Idea Yet!

honestly, i think its the best idea that microsoft has come out with so far. i love it! i use it for nearly everything. for those of you who arent familiar with microsoft office one note, heres my short description of the program: imagine being able to have a gigantic notebook with an unlimited number of sections. within each section, you can create either a group of sections or sub sections. under each subsection, you have individual pages. for each page, you can type things in their own little boxes, move boxes around, make tables, graphs, insert media, etc. you can even password protect sections so that no one else can access them. on top of that, onenote allows you to take screen shots, draw with a drawing tool (or with a drawing pad if you have one), search your notebooks for phrases, much more! plus its constantly backing up, so you dont have to hit "save," just in case youre one of those people who forget and wind up losing everything because your computer crashed. then, you can also back it all up to a disk or hard drive or flash drive, plus transfer it to another computer. if you save things from the internet, it automatically copies the link and pastes it into onenote along with the text that you copied. that way, if you want to find the website later, you just go to the quote and click on the link. theres so much more that you can do with it too! ive had it for 4 years now, on three different computers. i have yet to be disappointed! and i dont think ive even been able to discover all of its capabilities. definetly worth the $100! ps: i use the student edition.

Easy to use too!

Thanks for the great feedback. I'm finding it's so easy to use. It's integrated with all the Office suite (and Outlook) making one-click copies from other apps and automatically slaps your scraps of info into One Note automatically. For those of us ADD'ers who have a gazillion scraps of paper with scribbled notes...Stop! Get OneNote. You can also sync it to a SmartPhone too (I beleive - that's my next investment). FYI, you can find new licensed copies of it on Ebay for $25 (instead of $100).
