Life Balance- Seems like scinece fiction to me.

How? I am attempting to improve my skills at what I refer to as big picture multi-tasking. By this I mean, maintaining employment, keeping my apartment in a livable condition, having a social life (in any capacity) all at once.

I will go a month where work is good, but I have no clean clothes and no clean dishes. Then I will have clean clothes, clean dishes, and even maybe, a fridge full of groceries, but I will be ignoring my friends and slacking at work, or, I can actually be agood friend, and a good girlfriend/sister/daughter/aunt, but everything else will be falling down around me. My cycles last about 4-6 weeks, and then I realize one area is in critical danger, and so I shift my attention to it so I can rescue it.

How do I manage big- picture multi-tasking? I have come so far in the last 10 years (When I started to research and staregize around and with ADHD). Really, I am proud of myself for coming as far as I have, and yet this, seemingly basic skill continues to elude me. I have to belive that there is a strategy or a solution. I've been on meds for almost a year and they help A LOT!! and with them I have made even greater strides in life balance than I would have thought possible just two years ago, but still, this whole life balance thing is a mystery to me. Any suggestions?
