Anyone switched from Concerta to generic Adderall XR?

I have been on 36 mg Concerta for 6 years, and am now going to try switching to generic Adderall XR, to try to save $40/month. I normally get side effects from all medicine, but have been able to take Concerta without side effects, so I'm thinking it has to do with being a stimulant (my theory, anyway). My doctor is willing to try it. I've had an awful time with depression & anxiety meds, and hypertension meds with side effects. I'm wondering what the difference in how it might make me feel between the two stimulants.
