I am 43 years old and got diagnosed about 3 years ago. I also have depression and since then I have been trying different meds to get myself on a good path. I take Effexor for depression but couldn't find the right ADD med for me. They always just worked a little but not to the best I can feel. Until I tried Focalin. I take 3 a day @ 20mg and I just love it. Since I have been on Focalin I have been able to get stuff done. I am able to get up and not be so tired and I even feel better in public and speaking to strangers. I have been able to start selling AVON. I still have some minor ADD symptoms, but they are livable and I am working them through with a counselor. I am happy and feel normal. I don't feel like I am on drugs or overexcited. I just feel normal. I am glad that I tried Focalin. It saved me.
