Well as you guys know Jeremy & I have been searching for a trailor that we could make a down payment on , where we can do rent to own . The first two places that Jeremy & I went to approved us for a land home package but after much careful consideration , Jeremy & I figured out that we could not do a land home package , we also apparently figured out that these two places that we went to , tried their best to take advantage of us , apparently when they saw that Jeremy & I both draw disability they figured they we were young , we really don't know what we are getting ourselves into . Well then it wasn't too long after that , that my grand passed away so Jeremy & I just put trying to find a trailor on the back burner & we shifted our focus . well last week I was talking to my sister inlaw Tonya telling her about my & Jeremy's frustration , I was not out right asking for her help I was just venting my frustrations . She told me that she could find a place that would approve Jeremy & I for a trailor that was already on alot and that the she could get the down payment to be alot less . Well then this past Wednesday Tonya called Jeremy and told him that she was @ Clayton homes , she told him that she had already talked to the man and told him what we were looking for and what our budget is . Jeremy then threw on his clothes & went to meet Tonya , 3 hours later he came back home with a big smile on his face . The man @ Clayton Homes told Jeremy that with both of our checks combind that he did not see why we could be approved for a trailor already in alot , all set up . The man ran credit checks on both of us , my credit score of course is all good, Jeremy's on the other hand only has one mark on Jeremy's credit & it's for an old unpaid cell phone bill . The morgage man @ clayton homes told us that if we got approved , that he could call us , well yesterday morning Jeremy & I did a FHA interview over the phone , the man said if we got approve that he would call us within 24 hours , well it wasn't 2 hours later when we got the call that we had been approved . Boy talk about a happy couple , Jeremy & I jumped up and down , we then got ourselves together and counted out our down payment money , from there we went to the social secuirty office to get a print out showing proof that Jeremy & I both draw disability , we then went to Jeremy's bank to deposit the money into his checking account, well it turns out that they couldn't do it, so we then went to my bank , there I filled out a deposit slip and deposited the money into my checking account . From there we went and met with the man @ clayton homes . The man told us that we had been approved for a 3 bed/ 2 bath trailor that is already on alot , that is $39000.00 but with a down payment of $3000.00 that the trailor would only be $36000.00 , Then when we got deeper into the process we found out that we only have to put $2000.00 down and take the other $10000.00 and use it to pay off the old unpaid cell phone of Jeremy's . The best part about all of this , is our morgage payments will only be $360.00 a month which includes home owner's insurence , ect ect the lot rent is only $210.00 a month , water, lawn mantiance as well as trash is furnished , our trailor has a bran new washer and drier in it , bran new carpeting oh it's so nice . Jeremy & I feel that this a mircle , especially after the fact that we've been searching for two months , we also feel that this is a blessing from my beloved grand mother ( god rest her soul ) considering the fact that we got approved two weeks after her passing.
