Focalin and Ritilin

My 9 year old son has ADHD and now they think ODD. He has been on Focalin XR 15mg for about three months. That seems to be working while in the class room but after he is having the problems. He is called names because of his glasses and they call me names and he is ready to hit or be mean . Can he have anxiety and not ODD? His behavior and being argumentive and not listen to adults are getting worse. The doc gave us 10mg of Ritilin saying that his Focalin xr is not working as long because of the ODD. The problem is the aggressive behavior is getting worse since we gave him the pill. Can Ritilin make your child more aggressive?

Ritalin Dosage

Hmmm, you may want to talk to your doctor about adjusting his dosage. Dr. Larry Silver, claims that one of the signs that a child's Ritalin dosage is too high is when the child becomes overly irritable.

Good luck, Dena
