Many of you read my previous post with some questions. The new school is a public school with a special section of the school for BD classes. Then they slowly integrate the students to regular classes a couple of hours at a time making sure they are ready for the next step first. This was the only public school in the dist that is set up for the special classes. My DS is 6 and is in kindergarten, his new teacher said she is very excited about meeting him and says his case sounds familiar with a lot of other children that she has dealt with. I actually got to come in and see the class in action the very first time that I came in and got to ask the kids some questions. I have no doubt that the IEP suggestions will be carried out and this has really given me a light at the end of tunnel.
