It does sound wonderful, but I caution you to visit the classroom in operation before you start there. My son was placed in a program that sounds exactly like what you describe, and we did not visit the classroom beforehand. We relied on the assurances of administrators, which sounded like it was the perfect place. The moment i stepped into the class on the first day, I knew it was not appropriate for him. We gave it the benefit of the doubt for a few more months, which I regret. This was a public school system with a huge bureaucracy. Many of the stipulations of the IEP were either not carried out or took forever to get accomplished.
