You are not alone!

I too am a single mother trying to deal with this ADHD stuff. I just wanted to tell you that you are not alone, it seems that we all have this monkey on our back so to speak and it helps to read what others are going through too. My son did exactly what you described this morning and I was nearly in tears once I finally got him to school. I try to stay optimistic even though I feel your pain, and pray for you the best! Reading books about the disorder and parenting this type of kid has helped me. NOT ALOT OF HELP, BUT SOME! Chin up.

Hello. I too am a single Mother of a child with ADD. I am also disabled. As I sti here typing this note, my daughter is yelling at me from behind. Everything in the world is my fault and she just tore up her homework and is refusing to do it. Sigh...But, let's look at the bright side of all of this. Aren't they cute when they sleep? Ok, just kidding. I am told the road to finding the right medication is a long and hard road. However, once you find the right balance, life is good. Be creative with helping your child and definitely take time to pamper yourself. Best wishes to you on your journey. AND a very big Thank You for serving our Country.
