Well everyone I have great news!!! I recieved a notice from my local child support enforcement agency on Thuresday , informing me that the orginal order of child support that I had filed in Dec 2003 , but ended up terminating in April 2004 ( after foolishly agreeing to an agreement that my ex made , telling me he would move from where he was living at & move back up to here ( Bucombe county Asheville) where William & I were , he promised to get job, get a place of his own & help me with William ( even tho we were not together any more as a couple) Well I foolishly dropped the child support & did not have any contact with my ex since then . I was actually quite shocked when I recieved the notice in the mail from the local child support enforcement agency , telling that the orginal child support order had been re-instated , accept for the fact that I was no longer the payee, that me as the payee had been subituated for DSS and that DSS is now the payee . The fact that the 9th of next month will be the 1 yr annoversery since all this was started by Leslie who ended up turning my whole world up side down - (Now I know that I made some poor choices as far as being a parent is concerned ) , the fact that all of this was started by Leslie who was the one who caused me to loose custdy of my son , the one who caused DSS to be up my butt , calling me all hours of day , being in & out of court for months & months and then when the judge finally dismissed her from the case , it was too late the damage was already done . It's just amazing of how one person can be so mean & cruel and can cause enough pain to last a life time , but what's really messed up is that because of her my son is probably not going to get the chance to have a relaionship with his own mother is which sad . Any way , the thing that most shocked me about getting this notice , is the fact that after almost a year of going through all this mess with DSS & the cruel court system , DSS finally does a favor and re- instates the child support order in my behalf . I am happy that my ex is finally being forced to take financual responsibility for William . I am happy that William's foster parents are going after my ex and getting more done then I ever could , plus the fact that my boy is finally getting what he needs , helps me rest a little easier knowing that my ex is finally having to support his son . I have registered with the NCChildsupport web site , which gives case info , payment info ect ... so now I can keep up what's going on
