I have three boys 10, 8, & 5. My oldest one was diagnosed with ADHD, OCD, ODD, and Anxiety when he was about 5 yrs old. He has been seeing a psychiatrist, and psychologist ever since....My 8yr old has recently been diagnosed with ADD.

My husband and his parents are furious with me...They told me that he is fine, and I am drugging him up for no reason. Due to his dad and grandparents' reaction my son was spitting his pill in the garbage and not taking them. I am not sure what to do. I feel like I am walking on egg shells, and watching my son's school performance go down hill.

He has no attention span, he is easily distracted, and wanders off sometimes. DHS has already been to my house once because he wandered off and the police found him near a busy street. I guess I am just looking for advise on how to stand up for him....why is it ok that one child is diagnosed, but they can't handle the other...
