Time management is the key
Hello Deb,
Try and plan the mundane tasks and set a priority. Having just completed a time management course (Highly recommended for ADHD), I now just jump in "do it".
Some days are better than others for motivation and the key for me is to get it done & out of the way. The longer I leave tasks, the more my stress levels rise.
Before being medicated, I'd procrastinate and ignore the task(s) until the last minute. But now, motivation is not so much an issue. I also suffer from seasonal depression which aggrevates the issue.
In essence, allocate a time (preferably first thing in the morning) in a quiet area with no distractions or interruptions. It may not be perfect but it work for me.
