My eight year old daughter is currently taking Focalin XR. This is the third medicine she has been on for ADHD. She started out on 5mg then 10mg now 15mg. Ever since she went to 10mg she started picking her nose. Now she does it all the time since the increase to 15mg and to the point where it bleeds like she has been punched in the nose. She gets blood on her fingernails, clothes, bedspread etc. I called her doctor today but they haven't called back. On the other hand her behavior is good, still has some problems focusing at home and school. This summer I want to try something natural but don't know what to try. I have read about omega 3's, zinc, magnesium, b vitamins and attend. What should I try?
