food reactions with ADHD adults

My question is there are always articles on add and adhd the reactions and studies on food chemicals etc with kids but i am interested to know if that applies to adults too?I know one thing I do not like msg in any of the foods i have i just get this dry yucky taste in my mouth which lasts like 24 hrs and thinking about it can make me a bit duh in the head you know that fuzzy feeling!!!!!?I am on meds I take it 3 times day etc and I am on prozac which I have been on for a long time on and off because I can suffer from depression.Anyway can anyone tell me if the food additives etc can also have a major effect on adults?I know I stay right away from diet stuff and chewing gum and bubblegum makes me feel weird? As i get older i am just wondering if i am getting more sensitive to food or whether thay are just putting more crap into our'e foods!!!!!I would love to totally eat organic but it is so expensive in new zealnd it really sucks!!!!!!And interesting enough my boyfriend and daughter ued to eat alot of convienient food because of time factor busy lives etc.Now we have stopped and made an effort when we do eat crap it actually tastes disgusting!Anyone got any ideas I am continually moody especially before my period and after at the most i drink lots of a coffee a day and that is it.I drink 1.5 litres of water a day and do workout 5 to 6 times a week.Exercise has always made me feel better!!!!!
