Character Education

Hello guyz, I am a teacher and part of a Character Education Programs in Texas. Its very painfull to hear that in our society there are more then 80% people with very bad or no manners and good behavior. Research tell us that if we give the character education at the elementary level we can get Good behaved and Mannered professional in our future. we are working on www.iamgoingtocollege.com for introducing some character education programs for the parents and students.

My response to your post regarding character education.

Yes it is very important. This is an area of education that is totally overlooked. We are product of our environment. As a teen or a young adult..exposure to proper etiquette and leadership is vital in character developement. I often compare the brains of a human to that of a computer. A computer is constantly programmed and updated without that maintenance a computer may not function to best of its ability or often times may even crash. Humans are identical in regards to learning and understanding. They need constant training and developement to keep them updated and focused on the reality of life. LIfe can be very difficult with a lot of curve balls. Building and shaping a solid character is critical in your success. Your state of mind controls your language , your performance and your actions. By building a solid character you will be able to have the ability to reset and reprogram your thoughts as needed. Basically your taking control of the situations, not that the situation will take control of you.
