What to Do When Generic Isn't an Option?
Hello, I am a college student who has just recently been diagnosed with ADD. My average costs per month for my prescription is right at $200(non Generic). My problem is my doctor strongly recommended that I take the non-generic, but that is hitting my pocket pretty hard. My question is, are there any programs out there out there that are viable and work? I've signed up for a "drug" card online @ www.usrxcard.org and its helped me save a few dollars(I've only used it once) but the leftover is still pretty significant. I have no real alternative for paying for prescriptions, everything is out of pocket, and a monthly prescription doesn't really budget into a part time salary.
Thanks for any suggestions
