Anyone Tried the Natural Supplement "Attend"?

Has anyone tried ATTEND? It is a natural supplement marketed on line for ADHD. I am thinking of trying it for my 8yr old son who is having emotional and irritable side effects with Adderal RX.

Natural Alternative ADHD Treatment

I can't offer much information about ATTEND. But we did have a forum post recently about another natural treatment alternative that you might look into.

While you are researching alternative treatments, check out the Alternative Medicine FAQ for a little insight into the pros and cons of supplements and other non-drug ADHD treatments. And don't rule out exercise as an alternative treatment option. Vigorous physical activity helps kids reduce stress and can have a positive affect on brain chemistry. It worked for Michael Phelps!

Good Luck!

attend

I have had numerous clients of mine try Attend with moderate improvement, but the problem is that the ingrediants although good are in very small amounts and therefore assist only a little. Also none of the active ingrediants really turn on the prefrontal cortex. This is the same problem that Strattera has. It assists, but does not turn on the prefrontal cortex.

The only treatments that do in my experience are the stimulants and ADD-care.

Attend

Yes, we have tried Attend in our home. The results were short-term and not significant enough for what we need. Attend may work for some so I would try it to see. Our health food store carries it; perhaps yours does too.
