Single ADHD Parent Raising an ADHD Child - Any Resources?
Hi, I've seen lots on raising children with ADHD, some about single parenting an ADHD child, and some on being a parent with ADHD, but nothing on being a single parent with ADHD and raising an ADHD child. Does anyone know of any good sources? Thanks |

ADHD Single Parents
Hi blogoo: Here is a great ADDitude article about single parents raising ADHD children. It's not specifically about parents who also have ADD, but we do have a section of the site that's all about Moms with ADHD that might help... I particularly like Survival Strategies for SuperMom I hope this helps! |

A book worth reading
Not sure if it's against forum rules, but hopefully I can recommend a book worth reading. It's called "ADHD Attention-Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder in Children and Adults" by Paul H. Wender, M.D. This book was ordered through our local bookshop, but should also be available from Amazon. His style is easy to read, and is a very comprehensive resource regarding all facets of ADHD. This site has loads of valuable info, and members willing to share their experiences. |
