My daughter has been diagnosed with ADHD and Now they suspect that she has Dyslexia. They tell me that these go hand & hand with one another. BUT, here is the problem........I've been told that there is really no standardized test for Dyslexia...........So how do they really know???? What can I do to really find out and get her the help that she needs. I'm not a wealthy person I can't afford a personal Psychologist to perform testing just to tell me O.K. she has Dyslexia.....................................She's 13 yrs old and has poor self -esteem as it is and she just wants to be like everyone else,.. but she's not and that really hurts. What can I do???????????
