Feeling "dried out" from meds

Anyone experience dry eyes from ADD meds? I'm very dried up in other ways too. I tried omega 3s, water, tear drops of all brands, a ton of moistruizer (an inch of pure shea butter on my face) I'm sooo tired of having red bloodshot dry eyes! I'm otherwise a decent looking gal. I want to appear normal- not as if I've been up partying the night before because I haven't! Am I the only one who is going through this?

How old are you?

I don't want to be rude but if you are over a certain age it maybe the menopause thing and you need estrogen. Unfortunately this cause more havoc then usually the ADD meds . If you aren't old enough stop the caffeine products such as tea, coffee, pepsi , diet colas etc. ., mountain dews or monster etc drinks caffeine is a diurectic and will cause you to pee up a storm . Make sure the heat isn't too dry and I find Oatmea Avenoo is the best for the skin. Oh and don't keep using the Visine because will make the eyes redder then clearer. Stay away from Benadryl , antihistamines or decongestions , also Detrol has a drying effect. Hopefully this helps.

To ADDRN- I'm only 30

Dear ADDRN,

Thanks for the reply. I'm only 30-not there at menopause yet. I also only do caffeine once a month. Visine red eyes works temporarily but worsens the red ness after a while. The underlying problem is eye dryness which I've done everything for. ADD meds are supposed to cause xerostomia so I assumed that it dries up all your other membranes too? There's only sooo much H20 you can drink without disrupting your electrolyte balance.
