My 18 yr old son has just been diagnosed with ADD, will he still be able to join the MARINE corps?

Hi Maddie,

Your son may be covered by the American's with Disabilities Act, which applies to government as well as private organizations.

Having ADHD does not disqualify a person from joining, however, it may impose certain restrictions. You can learn more about the Military Policy in this article about ADHD and the military.
