Vyvanse and Strattera

Does it make sense to give a child 2 meds? Our doc suggested we give our 12 y/o with ADHD Strattera for anxiety & Vyvanse. Does this make sense to use both meds in treating ADHD with a co-existing condition of Anxiety?
