Fish Oil Question
Yes, you can take fish oil supplements along with medication. My husband, daughter and I all do that. I don't personally see any difference in my ADD with the fish oil but perhaps there is a small benefit that I don't notice. I take the fish oil for several reasons--it's good for your heart and cholesterol, it may help with ADD and it may help with Alzheimers' although I don't think there is any conclusive evidence on that. I don't eat much fish so I thought it would be good for me to take.
I don't know of any interactions with any particular medications. It is like taking a vitamin or mineral supplement. If you are concerned about a possible interaction with some medications, just ask your pharmacist.
