Cognitive Behavior Therapy to Help Children with Medical Issues

Hi I did a PhD CBT to help children with medical issues and now moms are uisng it for ADHD. But do USA doctors and parents use the term CBT? I know Diet (EPA, Omega 3 etc) is a big issue with ADHD so that is just another part of it. But I was at the 2005 aap.org and they talked about CBT (cog beh therapy) helping children. But i can not find it talked about. in the USA..why? Thank you mark m@animalagentz.com www.AnimalAgentz.com
