Getting to Sleep/Waking Up
My 11 year old has a horrible time with his bedtime routine - we give him his medication about an hour & a half - 2 hrs before bedtime, & he STILL is not sleepy ... some nights he will stay up ALL night ... then be absolutely horrendous the next day, missing school if a school day. (Actually refusing to go). We also give him his morning med about 1/2 hour before it's time to get up - seems to work out better. His eating habits are not good at all - rarely eats breakfast, sometimes lunch, and dinner if we're lucky. Then will sneak food all during the night. We've had to lock up all snack food, doleing it out periodically. He has me out of my mind, but this thread is about sleeping issues, so I'll close for now. Thanx for listening.
