Hello here , my name is Melissa I'm 27 yrs old & live in WNC , where I share a home with the love of my life Jeremy ( 29) and the man whom I've been in a long term comitted relationship for 8yrs now . The thing that makes jeremy & I so unique is the fact that I am ADD & he is ADHD , @ the same time being in a relationship in which one partner is ADD & the other partner is ADHD is incredibly challanging . For yrsI have been on the look out for some sort of local help as far as couples counseling & general help for ADD & ADHD here in Asheville NC ( Buncombe County) - Truth of the matter is every resource I have gone through here in Asheville NC ( Buncombe county) hasn't worked - to say the least the mental health services here stink & need major improvements - So with no other options left i went to the CHADD .org - turns out you have to pay to be a member to this web site - I kinda think it's messed up that you have to pay $45.00 just to become a member , why not have other payment options , like for example if you have medicaid & medicare - why not try to go through the insurence company . ? For give me Im new to the whole CHADD thing , I just want to know why it's so expensive?
