I and both of my sons get those dark circles also. My oldest son has taken both Ritalin and Adderall and has gotten the dark circles with both. We all feel like people look at us as though we are crack or meth heads. My oldest son has stopped his meds in large part due to them. What I don't know is why we get them, except due to the major exhaustion we all feel when our meds are wearing off.

yeah, when I see other people with dark circles like that I presume they're either terribly depressed or drug addicts. I have a high-visibility position at the company I work for and I just can't afford to come off like some sort of wreck. on a more personal level, It's just upsetting to know I look awful all the time.
