Well as of Tuesday my mom is going to moving out the of the house that she has lived in for 30 yrs now - I'll be honest I'm extremely excited. my mom is getting a fresh start in a new place where she isn't going to have to deal with all of the overwhelming bills that she has had in her old house, she won't have to deal with fixing things because she's going to have a maintenance man who deals with all of that- she'll have hot water which she does not have in the old house she has been living in - she'll have clean floors, clean kitchen - she'll have a smaller space to contend with , won't have a big huge house to deal with, plus the smaller space will be physically easier on her because she won't have to walk as far to get to kitchen or the bath room. I'll be honest the last week or so Jeremy and I are exhausted from working out tales off @ the old house, getting rooms cleaned out, getting rid of everything that is old & trash - packing the items that my mom is taking with her to her new place and packing the items that she wants to go storage. Finally the hardest part is over with, now with in the next couple of days we will be moving my mom's stuff out that she is taking to her new apartment and loading it into the utility trailer and taking it over to the new place - Our main goal is to get my mom settled in her new place just enough and then this Thursday Jeremy and I are going to be going out of town for about 3-4 days to TN just to chill and relax since we aren't going to be able to go out of town like we wanted to for our 8 anniversary and Jeremy's 29th birthday which is the 28th of this month - Jeremy and I will be helping my mom get her new apartment set up a little more when ever we get back from TN - then once OCT comes we'll get her, her living room furniture and slowly start getting her really settled in to her new place. From there my mom is going to look into some sort of home health assistance given the fact that she is a retired air force Nurse, she's a veteran so there for she should have access to home health services provided by the VA hospital , but first she'll have to talk to her pain DR to get some info - but I know that once she gets the home health assistance, that will take a lot of stress off of Jeremy and I, there for my mom won't have to depend on us so much. On another note I am happy to report that William is doing good, he started 2nd grade, he's extremely happy just doing really well considering everything that she has been through in the last 5 months or so I am working on trying to get my assessments done, even tho I have yet to do anything because I have been so tied up with moving my mom - trying to move some one out of their home in which they have lived in for 30 yrs takes weeks up on weeks to get done- then there's the actual moving, getting all the bills transferred over to the new place - so the say the least none of it is easy and doesn't all happen over night. Now we're to the wire were finally just days away from getting my mom moved to better environment. So I am thankful that god has been able to give Jeremy and I the strength to move my mom with out any help from anyone - the fact that Jeremy and I have been able to do all of this all on our own is a miracle. I don't know how one grown man and one grown woman have been able to clean out a 4 bed room 2 bath house in a week, pack everything my mom is taking with her, pack everything that goes to storage- I I don't' know how one grown man and one grown woman has been able to do all of that work in such a small amount of time, but we did - but I tell ya I'm so glad its almost over because Jeremy and I are both just pooped, the fact that we've been able to work together as team and not argue has been an even bigger miracle , because usually jeremy and I have had hard time working together because he wants to run everything and be the boss, I want to be able to express my ideas and thoughts, so I am happy that were were able to get this done without arguing fussing and fighting.
