Need Some Job Help

This may be totally off base or in the wrong area but I am reaching out to see if any of you other parents know of any good work at home jobs or opportunities. I have to stay home because getting someone who understands my sons needs and ADHD is next to impossible and honestly hurts my feelings when the constantly treat him like a bad kids.

Yes he is now in school from 8-2:30 but it is impossible to find a job to fit those hours. I was just wondering if any of you other parents know of anything that can be done online or such. If so, it would be a great help I am searching and have put up flyers to watch some children in my home but no success so far. Again if this is in the wrong section or totally off base I am sorry.

Flexible Work

Hello:

Have you tried signing up as a service provider (babysitter, elder care, etc.) on SitterCity.com, Care.com or eNanny.com? If you're open to doing housecleaning, you might also try posting an advertisement on craiglist.org for your area.

Finally, there are a few good web sites designed specifically for people like you... Jobs for Moms is just one.

Good luck!

work

I have a Daycare in my home. My son is 9 and has ADHD my daughter is 11 and has ADD. I am going to the Doc next week they think I have ADD. So you can see that having a job outside the home would not work. Also I like the freedom of the job, I am in my own house so when my children are at school I can still do laundry, clean, cook and all those fun things. The one thing that I would say is make sure you get the right children. I don't normally take babies just because if they are fussy it adds to the stress of the day. I try and do as much during the day as I can that way when my kids come home I am ready for the night. Plus, on the days when I don't feel the best I don't have the stress of going out and trying to act like I have it all together (being honest). And when you get those phone calls at 9:00 because you kids forgot there backpack or what ever else they forgot you can take it to them with out having to explain it to your boss (happens all the time here) Just something to think about

Good luck
