I went to court on Thursday , I was hoping & praying that something would go in my favor but nothing @ all went in my favor. The original social worker got up on the stand & testified that the whole reason I gave Leslie Temp Guardianship was simply because I couldn't finally take care of William - lie #1 I plainly told DSS that the only reason why I gave Temp Guardianship of William to Leslie was simply because I was having a hard time taking care of my ill disabled mother, along with house and my self.

Amber Leslie's girlfriend/ partner got up on the stand to testify and of course lied , saying that William lied about her and Leslie physically punching each other, The DEA of course grilled Amber about why @ one time was going to leave the relationship , but decided to stay , she kept trying to change her story & of course the DEA caught on to that and kept grilling her anyone but never got a truthful answer.

My lawyer told me that my chances of getting William back is slim to zero, simply because I am with Jeremy & with Jeremy's long lengthy criminal record. Bless Jeremy's heart his criminal record was pass out through out the whole court and was painted as this mentally unstable, drug addict, drug dealing trouble making person who doesn't deserve to even be on this earth. Truth is it wouldn't matter if Jeremy did 180 degree flip, did all the assessments, and was super nice to DSS and everyone else, the court is not going to soften and place William back with me.

I did assert myself to my social worker Mr. Moss and told him flat out that I don't feel comfortable with him, that all he has done is bad mouth me and Jeremy , that he has done nothing to ask me as William's mother what I feel is best for William - of course after that Mr. Moss did not talk to for the rest of court.

After court John and Jennifer Wike came up to me, Jennifer told me that they love William with tears in her eyes, she told that before William was placed with her and John that Leslie tried to have William comitted to CopeStone, but thankfully John drove 90 miles an hour from Swain county all the way up here to Bumcombe county to pick William up . Jennifer told me that her and John have not had any problems out of William , that he's going to therphy , they go to church every Wednesday and Sunday , then she showed a recent picture of William on her cell phone- I saw his picture & I broken down into tears , seeing how big he's gotten, he looks so much like me , seeing that beautiful smile with his first tooth missing , oh he looked so good . Now after seeing his picture, seeing how well he's doing I see that the wikes are taking good care of him . I'm willilng to sacrofice my motherly heart and sign custdy of William over to the Wikes, providing that Jeremy is taken out of the mix completely - no assesments no nothing , there isn't any point in Jeremy taking all of those assesements if he's never going to have any contact William, it' s just a waste of tax payer's money . So if i'm willing to sacrofice my motherly heart and sign custdy of William over to the Wikes , providing that Leslie is not to have any contact with William - I'll take the assesments they want me to . I just would like to have some sort of visitation even if it has to be supervised , I have no problem respecting and waiting until William's therhiest signs off on visitation . All I want is what is best for my son , as long as the wikes are meeting Williams mental , emtional spiritual and physcial needs then I'm fine with William permenently staying with the Wikes . As long as William is happy, Im happy.
