Well Jeremy & I had a long conversation with my court appointed attorney on speaker phone yesterday . I told him that if he can't represent me the way I need him to , then I would have get another lawyer to represent me. I then went on to tell Mr. Gast ( my court appointed attorney) that # 1 I am not signing William back over the leslie, # 2 nor am I signing custdy of William over to Leslie's 1st ex husband John ( whom is the current Kenship placement for William ) I told him that I don't feel that William needs to be with John and his wife simply because of the fact that John & Leslie were once married, plus the fact that they share two daughters, even tho John signs his parental rights away to their daughter's in 2003 even still with that, the girls still visit their father , there for Leslie drives the girls to visit with their father , that right there gives leslie an excuse to be arround William - that right there is not cool . I told Mr. Gast that I don't trust leslie and that I feel that William needs to be put into a Temp Christan foster home with a family who will work with Jeremy & myself , to allow us to supervised visitation , in the mean time Jeremy and I will do counseling ect. Jeremy and I told Mr. Gast that I tried to revoke the Temp Guardianship in 2006 , that I had called Fl but that no one in Fl would help me because I' live in NC no to menton the fact that every time Leslie would contact me with her address and cell phone # , that when ever I would try to find out exzactly where Leslie's address was, by the time I would find out, she moved , on top of the fact that every time I would call the new cell number she gave me , the cell number had been disconnected , that all leslie did was jump from one part of FL to another. Mr. Gast then asked me if I wanted William back and I told him most definately I want him back , then he asked if there is an particular reason why I can not have William back into my home @ this time - I told him that the only reaon why I can't have William back is simply because we live in a 1 bed room, 1 bath apartment that there isn't an extra room for William . Jeremy went in to tell Mr. Gast that there is no need for DSS to do a home assesment because Jeremy and I aren't going to be bringing William back to the apartment we are currently living in but that when we move that DSS is more than welcome to do all the assesments that they want. Jeremy told Mr. Gast that he is fully aware that his criminal record along with past drug history makes him look bad in general but that he's a different person now. Mr. Gast asked Jeremy if he's willing to take assesments and clases in order to prove that he is fit to be arround William, Jeremy told him absolutely , that he'll do anything he needs in order to prove that he's fit to be arround William . Mr Gast has since talked to Jeremy's lawyer who use to be a former DEA , jeremy assure Mr. Gast that his lawyer will also be willing to represent him in DSS court if needed. Finally Jeremy asked Mr. Gast if he can push all the way to have William taken out of Kenship placement of the Wikes and have him put with Christian foster family temperarly until we can provide a better living environment , on top of getting me an emergency visiation , that fact is William needs me and I need him . So as of right now all Jeremy & I can do is pray and see how things go in court on the 31st .
