Ritalin
It can depend on the type of medication and whether it is short acting or an extended release form. I doubt she is on regular, short-acting Ritalin at that amount, but I could be wrong. My son was taking 72 mg. of Concerta and I am on 140 mg. of Vyvanse.
Individuals metabolize medications differently. And some of the recommended dosage amounts are aimed at children and not adolescents or adults. If her doctor is prescribing that amount and she is doing well on that dosage without serious side effects, it may be the right amount for her. I'm not a doctor and I don't know all the particulars of her situation.
