Both of My Boys Were Just Diagnosed
Both of my boys were just diagnosed with ADHD. My 8 year old has been on Strattera since 4/12/08. He is doing better in school but I am still having issues at home. He wants his way, he likes to be the boss, and has tantrums. My other son is 9 and he was diagnosed on 5/28/08 but he also was diagnosed with oppositional defiant disorder(ODD). He has been taking Concerta since 5/31/08. He says he is really dizzy, headaches, stomach aches and his chest hurts a little. Is this normal? How long do these symptoms last? He also has a tendency to lie because of the ODD so I am not sure what to believe. I am so confused and need any advice on how to raise two ADHD children. |
