Hello!

I think that I have ADHD, too and I have too many projects,. I can have at least 1 new project per week and they all seem great ! Does anyone have the same problem ? Can you give me some advice, if you already experienced it ?

Scuse me for the language'errors if there's any

Hello, I think you meant that when you have to do too many projects that it is difficult but when it is only one project that it is easy for you to do a good job. Maybe try working on time mangement first. Plan out exactly what needs to get done and when. lists are always helpful. If that does not work or you have already tried this then maybe it is a good idea to speak to someone:O)

Too many projects

Having a lot of projects is good. It keeps us excited and gives us things to look forward to. The idea is to prioritize and then actually complete the projects. Following projects through to completion is very hard for people with ADHD.

First, pick a project and try breaking it into smaller segments and give yourself a short deadline for each segment. Completing each segment will give you the feeling of accomplishment and will help you actually complete the project.

If you need the variety of working on several projects, take 5 projects and break them all into segments with deadlines. Then give yourself time to work on one part of all 5 projects in one day. This will help you keep your interest and still help you to accomplish your projects.

This is what I do for a living, I help people accomplish their projects, especially people with ADHD.

Too Many Projects

I am an idea machine. My ideas lead to projects for my self as well as for work.

I follow Laura's suggestions. I keep a master list of all my projects. I tend not to look at it too often. I bought a project manager book from Levenger because I am a visual planner. Each project gets a card, sometimes more than one little 3x5 card. I can review the pages. I can pull out the cards, add steps, cross off steps when I complete them. You must find tools that work for you. (Circa 3 x 5 Translucent Action Folio Price: $24 - $38 Item:ADS4105 @ http://www.levenger.com/PAGETEMPLATES/PRODUCT/Product.asp?Params=Category=326-339|PageID=5817|Level=2-3|Link=PT|special=search|ID=SearchClicked|i=1)

I also just use a 3x5 card for the days 'to do' activities. there are only so many lines on those little cards. It is a sign of over doing it when I run on to the back. The overachiever in me laughs. Some stuff on the back of a 'to do ' card gets written on the next day's 'to do' list. The card fits in my purse. I see it. Keep it near. Keeps me focused. I usually fill it out end of day after flipping through the project book, looking at cards, dates and what needs to be done when.
