spring fever
Hi Michelle and Kris,
Having lived with ADD for 47 years, I know all too well the pain and frustration that people with this challenge face on a daily basis.
Because people with ADD/ADHD frequently face alienation by others who don't understand them, low self esteem, and depression are common. Family and loved ones can greatly help those with LD challenges, by offering sincere praise. Please understand, that criticism and punishment only compound the feelings of isolation and pain, and cause loved ones to turn inward. Looking for reasons to offer sincere praise, helps us to develop a sense of self that is positive, which in turn can assist your loved ones to feel good about themselves, and to flourish. The world becomes less scary, and enables us to be at peace with ourselves. Gary
