In fact, all this fraud Hallowell has done is re-package human-potential snake oil, which goes well back into the 19th century. Hollowell's method is this: You see, you're special, and people with you're problems have become billionaires and rich pop-medicine salesmen like Hallowell, and that fact that you're not a billionaire or a wealthy con man or can't even hold a job is you're fault, because you've got a bad attitude! ADHA only makes people because miserable and ruins lives is because of that bad attitude! If you give Hollowell and his colleagues enough money, you'll discover just the right job, because you're a genius, really, except if you persist in your bad attitude, in which case you continued misery is your fault. Hollowell's method, you see, cannot by definition fail.

People like Hollowell who enrich themselves by feasting on the misery of others are despicable.
