Behavioral changes Seasonal?

Does anyone have problems with your ADHD'er and the changing of seasons? It seems as though my son has this issue. After Thanksgiving my 7 yr old son started to have issues. His meds didn't seem to help him and he was a bit uncontrollable. After the holidays he got better and now that it has started to get warmer out and we are doing more out door activities he seems to be getting a bit more wild and uncontrollable. I don't want to up his meds I don't have to. His teacher is the one that noticed that he is starting to be uncontrollable. He isn't trying to be bad but he just can't control his out bursts and he can't sit. Does anyone have suggestions on how to transition to the next season.

transitions

My children have trouble with transitions all the time doesn't matter what season it is though we are in Australia where they can play outside most of the year..When the are active, playing out side etc it takes them more time and effort to slow themselves down. One of them is on medication this helps him a bit and...Both of my children get overstimualted by crowds(or even a few people at a time, everyone talking moving etc), noise, open spaces, and extended physical activity. My 10yr olds occupational therapist got my son to figure out what made him go fast and what made him go slow so then we started to know what was his triggers. His teacher at school has corner of the classroom which is hidden and has 2 big pillows in it so he can go in there anytime he feels uneasy or overstimualted, she has also let him move around to get the extra movement out of his system if he feels he needs to.

Seasons

Hi I have a 9 yr old who was diagnosed with ADHD when he was 5 yrs old. I have always had issues with my sons behavior in November and in April/May. When I asked our pyschologist about this he assured me this was typical in children with ADHD,ecspecially in April/May, they get bored of the everday routine he said, bascially everything is old and they find themselves in more trouble. I give more postive feedback and try to find something fun to do that gets him to use his energies on. Lilke we started swimming lessons today and we stay and play afterward..Just wanted you to know your not alone. Goodluck.

Thank you

I am starting to think that it isn't the seasons anymore. It has been to long now. I think we need to up his meds. I also don't think that they will either. I don't really want to change him either. We didn't have success the last time.
