Some Problems, Some Questions
I'm having real problems with my medications. I'm taking Vyvanse 70mg twice a day; however, I have high blood pressure, so I have to keep a close watch on things. I also take Wellbutrin, 300mg morning & 150 at noon, 100mg Atenol twice a day, 10mg valium, and .4g clonidine, most of the clonidine at bedtime. I'm sure that sounds like a real mix, which is why it's all pretty confusing for me, plus I was just diagnosed a few months ago, 'just diagnosed with the high blood pressure a little over 6 months ago. I guess I'm wondering if any other members have high blood pressure , and do you have to keep a close watch on things too, plus I'm wondering if each ADHD drug has it's own different effects on individuals and one possibly has to try several drugs before the best one is found. I'd like to try Adderall just to see how it affects me. I tried Straterra and thought it was going to work, but it turned out to really be bad.

Some problems Some Questions
Hi, While I do not have ADD my daughter does. To answer your question about different medications working in different ways for people, the answer is a resounding YES! I think you should follow you instincts and keep trying ADD medications until you find the one that not only works well for you but FEELS right to you. Work closely with your doctor(s) untilI you are satisfied that all of your medications are working toward the common goal of helping you lead a hapy and rewarding life. Take care! |
