When Accidents Happen
Last night I had an automobile accident. I hit a deer -- a very typical occurrence in "our neck of the woods." I didn't have to call the police to the scene and reported it this morning. However, when asked "where did the accident occur?" I could tell the officer what highway, but exactly where .... I don't know. How fast were you going? Don't really remember, but of course I said within the speed limit. Doesn't it bite that everything just blends in, so that when we need to remember facts, we can't? Or is it just me? |

Accidents Happen
Hamster, hang in their because it's not just you. I get worse if I have to tell someone some information because my mind goes blank. My husband is used to it also. He helps me remember things that I can't right down. Here to say: You are not alone. |

Accidents Happen
I don't know what I would do without my wife guiding me. I forget the smallest things going from one room to another. I have to stand there until I remember why I went into that room in the first place, sometimes I have to leave and enter several times before I remember what or why I needed to go therein the first place. |

Thanks
Whew! While I'm glad it's not just me, I wish none of us had to deal with it. Oh well, I try to look at the good side -- when I can't remember the facts, I can tell a pretty good story! : ) |
