ADHD Summer Camp Experiences???
My son is 15 years old and I have always wondered about summer camps for him. I know that the specialized camps can be very expensive. I would be looking for a camp that might focus on social issues. Making and keeping friends, social awareness. Does anyone have any experience good or bad? |

Summer Camps
I know a child who has significant social problems and who has attended Summit Camp in Pennsylvania for several summers. It has been a wonderful experience for her and definitely boosted her social skills and self confidence (and also helped with a number of other problems she has). I would highly recommend this program. (Also, staff regularly communicate with parents on many aspects of how your child is doing at the camp while they are away) |

Summer Camp
My son is almost 9, and I am wondering about camp as well. I've seen several that sound great, but I'm not sure about him going away to camp for the first time for 2 weeks. Does anyone know of any 1 week ADD camps? I am in the Atlanta area, and would love to find one close by. |
